We have both been traveling to SILESIA for the past 10 years or more, and it is a delight to stay in the Hirschberg valley at Schloss Lomnica, where they have been the focal point for the restoration of the many of the important Prussian houses and parks such as Myslakowice Palace, rebuilt for Friedrich Wilhelm IV by Schinkel. Meanwhile the city of Wroclaw (Breslau) is a vibrant counterpart, and en route there are some of the wooden Peace Churches, built at the end of the Thirty Years War of susrprising beauty, as well as Ksiaz Castle, home to the Pless family.
