A treasure trove of buildings, people and food. Skopje has turned Walt Disney but still the old Town is beautiful and the houses and planning of the international community after the earthquake are very moving. The National Parks established by Tito contain rich flora and fauna. The churches are important for European art and the country has one of the few modern designed Orthodox churches in Eastern Europe of any note.
